Decking the Foley highways for Christmas holidays | al.com: "FOLEY, Ala. -- While most people won't be thinking about Christmas for many months, Foley officials are shopping for holiday decorations that will light up downtown and Ala. 59 in upcoming years.

Between Thanksgiving and the beginning of January, more than 300 decorative Christmas lights adorn the street-lamp poles along Ala. 59 and U.S. 98. Those lights are 15 years old, however, and repairs and replacements take up more time each year, said Jessica Nelson, Foley administrative assistant."
