Beach Express will offer discounts to Ono Island residents | al.com: "ORANGE BEACH, Ala. -- The owners of the Beach Express toll bridge will roll out a trial discount program for Ono Island residents on Monday, according to the company.

The decision prompted by discussions between American Roads LLC Chief Executive Officer Neal Belitsky and members of the Orange Beach Business Council will allow the gated island community's registered voters and their driving-age children to cross the span for $1.75.

The trial run is expected to last through March 2011, but American Roads said it reserves the right to limit enrollment and terminate the program at any time."
