Movie Gallery files for Chapter 11 protection; plans to close 805 stores | Business News from the Press-Register - al.com: "Movie Gallery Inc., owner of the Hollywood Video movie rental chain, has filed for Chapter 11 protection and plans to close 805 stores -- about a third of its total.

According to the store listing on the firm's Web site, it currently plans to close four of its 16 remaining southwest Alabama stores -- the Hollywood Video on Rangeline Road in Mobile and Movie Gallery stores in Foley, Orange Beach and Greenville."
