Editorial: This may be a bad idea | Press-Register Commentary - al.com: "THE BALDWIN County Commission should reconsider doing business with a company that wants to establish a recycling plant at the Magnolia landfill.

The county signed an agreement with Team Green Recycling Inc. last summer for a $10 million plant that would sort recyclables out of residential garbage collected from throughout the county. Team Green said it could recycle as much as 65 percent of the garbage, substantially reducing the amount that goes into the landfill and relieving municipalities and the county from the burden of running their own recycling programs."
