Rabid raccoon diagnosis prompts immunization reminders in Baldwin County | al.com: "ROBERTSDALE, Ala. -- The diagnosis of a rabid raccoon in the Robertsdale area in Baldwin County has prompted public officials to encourage pet owners to be sure dogs, cats and ferrets are vaccinated against the fatal disease, according to a Baldwin County Health Department news release. Health department officials say a rabid raccoon was also confirmed in the Silverhill area last week."
