Baldwin County Historical Society to hear tales of 1930s radio programs | al.com: "DAPHNE, Ala. -- The next program of the Baldwin County Historical Society will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Daphne Senior Center.

Robert M. Glennon of Point Clear will discuss his latest book, 'Alabama History on the Air.' His presentation will include stories of rivalries, romance and adventure during the developing years of the Alabama and Mississippi territories as they were told by John F. Glennon on Mobile’s first radio station, WDOX, in the 1930s."
