Orange Beach eyes new sewer line along park boundary with urgency | al.com: "ORANGE BEACH, Ala. -- City officials are looking to fast-track a multimillion dollar sewer project that they say will help avert a potential ecological and public health disaster and speed up the planned widening of Canal Road.

Mayor Tony Kennon said state officials have tentatively agreed to give Orange Beach an easement along the northern boundary of Gulf State Park in which to run about 2 miles of pipe between Ala. 161 and the city's new sewer treatment facility."
