A boat accident Friday night in Choctawhatchee Bay killed three people.

Lee Forst, an editor with the Northwest Florida Daily News, told Channel Three News the Coast Guard, Okaloosa sheriff's office, Florida Fish and Wildlife officers, EMS, and at least two fire departments were on the scene.

Lieutenant Stan Kirkland with the Florida FIsh and Wildlife Commission says two boats, each carrying four people, collided head-on near Marler Park on Okaloosa Island."
