Navarre Pier could be open by spring | pnj.com | Pensacola News Journal: "As work progresses on the new Navarre Pier, the Santa Rosa County Commission is looking to have a private pier manager in place by spring.

'It's 1,500-foot pier, and there's more than 500 feet of super structure in place,' county engineer Roger Blaylock said Thursday. 'We're on track to have it open by spring. ... The (construction) contract time goes through the April/May time frame.'"
