Hearing set July 21 on waste plan - al.com: "BAY MINETTE — With major changes under way at Baldwin County's Magnolia Landfill, the public will have a chance to speak on topics related to disposal and recycling at a public hearing set for July 21.

Solid Waste Director Jim Ransom said state law requires the hearing on the county's Solid Waste Management Plan before commissioners can contract with Team Green Recycling to provide centralized recycling services.

'We are looking to change the recycling services listed in the plan. Under Alabama law that requires a 30-day advertisement and public hearing,' Ransom said."
