Feral hogs removal next project at park - al.com: "BAY MINETTE — Work is progressing to get Baldwin County's Bicentennial Park ready for the enjoyment and education of people, officials said.
But first, about 75 wild hogs must be rooted out of the Stockton site, they said.
'The swine are causing damage to the park, including destruction of vegetation and topographical features, all of which cause further problems related to erosion,' said a report to commissioners at a recent meeting. 'In addition, feral swine pose a risk to public health and safety.'"
