Emerging Artists exhibit set - al.com: "The first Emerging Artists exhibit will kick off Thursday with an Artists' Reception from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Orange Beach Art Center. A variety of mediums will be on display including ceramics, painting and new media.

The event is sponsored by the Friends of the Arts, Inc., a nonprofit organization that supports the Orange Beach Art Center. Organizers say the purpose of the exhibit is to draw attention to the works of chosen graduating artists and provide exposure, experience and encouragement."
