Michael P. White, illustrator of The Library Dragon ( winner of the 1997 Flicker Tale Children’s Book Award, an Honor Book for the 1997-1998 Florida Reading Association Children’s Book Award), The Secret of Old Zeb( winner of an Award of Merit from the Southeastern Library Association) with Carmen Agra Deedy and Harriett’s Horrible Hair Day with Dawn Lesley Stewart will visit the Orange Beach Public Library for the Summer Reading Program on Thursday, June 25, 2009. He will illustrate as he speaks to the Family Reading Program at 3:00 p.m. and at the 4:00 p.m. Teen Summer Reading Program he will demonstrate air brush art. Both programs will take place at the Orange Beach Senior Center located next to the Orange Beach Public Library.
