Expansion of highways continuing - al.com: "DAPHNE — Work is progressing on two major road projects to provide more north-south access along the Eastern Shore, officials said Friday.

The extension of Baldwin County 13 south to Ala. 104 is going well, said Cal Markert, county engineer.

'We're a little bit ahead of schedule,' he said. 'They've finished the pilings and paved about 25 percent and have a lot of the dirt work done on the north end.'"
