Orange Beach jail death apparent suicide, authorities say - al.com: "A woman apparently committed suicide Thursday morning at the Orange Beach Police Department by hanging herself with a shirt, according to the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office.

Monika Romanowska Watts, 31, of Gulf Shores was found dead at 5:15 a.m., said sheriff's spokesman Maj. Anthony Lowery. Watts was a native of Poland and was married to an American, he said.

A preliminary investigation has found no wrongdoing by police, Lowery said. Alcohol is believed to have been a factor, he said."
