- Jimmy Buffett sited at Lulu's in Gulf Shores and I got his autograph on a bucket.: "heard on the coconut telegraph that Jimmy Buffett was at his sister's restaurant and bar known as Lulu's on the Intracoastal Waterway in Gulf Shores, AL. I had gotten a similar message ten years ago when Lulu's was located at the mouth of Fish River and Week's Bay. That time he performed outside for his family and friends and sang into a microphone covered by a crown bag to reduce wind noise. His performance was fantastic! I thought he might be performing this time, but he was there to visit with friends and family.
I have been a Parrothead all my life and it was great to see him in person again. He was very gracious and gave me his autograph on a Lulu's bucket that I purchased in the gift shop. The song in the background of this video is 'A Salty Piece of Land' that came with his book by the same name."
