Alabama Reads to begin Wednesday in Orange Beach | Press-Register Community News - al.com: "ORANGE BEACH, Ala. -- The Orange Beach Public Library has planned events to celebrate 'Alabama Reads.' The selected book this year is 'The Adventures of Tom Sawyer' by Mark Twain.

Included in the celebration are a showing of the 1973 film 'Tom Sawyer' at 3 p.m. Wednesday. Also planned is a discussion of Mark Twain and Tom Sawyer with scholar and essayist Mary Riser at 6 p.m. Feb. 25."
