Gulf Shores council hears from both sides in Little Lagoon vacation rental proposal - al.com: "GULF SHORES, Ala -- Elected officials are considering opening up the northern shore of Little Lagoon to short-term vacation rentals and anticipate making a decision on the matter within the next few months, Mayor Robert Craft said.

'It is my recommendation that we do come up with an ordinance and we do vote on it and, either up or down, we decide and put this to rest,' Craft said Monday at the conclusion of a public meeting with area property owners."
