The Swift Coles Historic Home in Bon Secour is the setting for a display of hand made heirloom children's clothing during the entire month of February. Just in time for Easter and Spring finery, the clothing is on loan from Lilies and Lace in Point Clear. Proprietor Toodles Dorgan has gathered an exquisite collection of infant, toddler, and young ladies' apparel to delight visitors who come to tour the home during the regular hours, Tuesdays and Fridays, 10:00 until 4:00.

Lilies and Lace, located on Scenic Highway 98 in Point Clear, is all about sewing to reflect the classic art of French Hand Sewing, embroidery, smocking, and other fine arts. The creations on display include baby bonnets, girls' dresses, Baptismal and Christening gowns, and many surprises. Also included in the display will be authentic heirloom pieces from families in the area. The month highlight encourages visitors to share in the art of hand sewing while visiting the historic home, the perfect hostess for the displays.

The Swift Coles Historic Home is located in Bon Secour, just south of the intersection of County Road 10 and County Road 49. The house was home to the Charles Swift Family until 1976 and Nik Coles until his death in 2007. The home was bequeathed to the Baldwin County Historic Development Commission and is operated by Baldwin County as a public venue for tours. Regular hours are Tuesdays and Fridays, 10:00 - 4:00 and groups are requested to make reservations. Home is available additional days by prior arrangement.
