Vote delayed on Orange Beach tattoo shop, flea market zoning | al.com: "ORANGE BEACH, Ala. -- The City Council on Tuesday delayed its vote on a proposal that would limit pawn shops, tattoo parlors, flea markets and palm readers to a small section of the town zoned for industrial uses.

The council voted 5-1 to table the proposed ordinance, meaning that April 20 is the next date the measure could see a vote, barring a special meeting.

Mayor Tony Kennon cast the lone vote opposing the delay and said after the meeting that he wasn't sure why the matter was tabled."
