Foley fire chief: Brush fires on increase | al.com: "FOLEY, Ala. -- Dry conditions and a pending burn ban have led to an increase in brush fires in the area, city Fire Chief Joey Darby said.
In March, the Foley Fire Department responded to 90 calls, including 16 brush fires.
'We've had a number of fires out of control and fires without a permit,' Darby told City Council members Monday."
