Baldwin County per capita income growth slowed in 2008 | al.com: "Baldwin County's per-capita personal income growth in 2008 slowed to one of the lowest rates of the past 40 years, while Mobile and several rural counties in south Alabama showed steady growth, according to federal data released Thursday.

Mobile County's per-capita income grew by 3.7 percent to more than $30,500 from 2007 to 2008, according to county-by-county income figures released by the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis.�"
