The Blue Angels flight demonstration squadron announced the team's commanding officer for 2011 and 2012 on Tuesday evening.

A panel of admirals and former Blue Angels team members selected David E. Koss out of seven finalists to join the team. The announcement was made in the atrium of the National Naval Aviation Museum."
