Gulf Shores City Clerk calls it quits - Baldwin County NOW: "GULF SHORES, Ala. — Gulf Shores City Clerk Renee Moore has worked her last city council meeting and will soon be headed back to her roots in Austin, Texas.

Moore moved to Gulf Shores in 1988, and after working for Baldwin County Parks and Land Management and then spending some time in real estate, came to work for the City in 1991, becoming City Clerk in 1993.

Monday’s council meeting included smiles, tears, positive comments from the mayor and a proclamation from the Alabama Gulf Coast Area Chamber of Commerce."
