State Farm not leaving coast of Alabama - al.com: "State Farm's announcement that it will pull out of Florida's property insurance market is not a prelude to similar moves in coastal Alabama, company spokesman David Majors said Tuesday.

Instead, Majors said State Farm has decided to resume offering wind coverage in a small parts of Mobile and Baldwin counties where last year it had stopped writing new coverage.
