Snowbird calendar of events | pnj.com | Pensacola News Journal: "11th Annual Snowbird Bratfest is Saturday

The annual festival will begin at 4:30 a.m. with a breakfast for leaders at the Waffle House in Gulf Shores. All committee members from the 10 states and fire department leaders are invited to attend.

Cooking will start at 6:30 a.m., serving will begin about 10 a.m. Entertainment will be provided from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. by the Gulf Breeze RV Choir, who will sing on the steps of the Erie Meyer Center.

More than $60,000 has been raised for the Fort Morgan, Gulf Shores and Orange Beach Fire/Rescue Departments from the Bratfests. The participating states are Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. Many local businesses contribute to the success of the program."
