Baldwin public schools could get $16M from stimulus bill - al.com: "Baldwin County public schools could receive more than $16 million over the next two years if Congress passes the current version of President Barack Obama's economic stimulus plan, according to figures compiled by the Alabama Department of Education.

The U.S. House of Representatives passed the bill Wednesday.

State schools Superintendent Joe Morton wrote that Alabama's $1.01 billion share of the education funds included in the stimulus package would be divided up based on enrollment in each local system."
