After more than a decade of community involvement, Perdido Bay Foundation members plan to expand the group's impact with a new office and more programs relevant to Baldwin County's environmental challenges.
On Friday, the foundation will formally open its office on U.S. 98 in Lillian with a ribbon-cutting at 8:30 a.m. and then conduct a symposium on local issues related to sewer services from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., said Robert Donnenwirth, foundation president.
The new office is at 34173 U.S. 98. It will offer public information and education about Perdido Bay.
