Eighth annual Kids' Fishing Jubilee planned at Gulf State Park this weekend | al.com: "GULF SHORES, Ala. -- The eighth annual Kids’ Fishing Jubilee is planned for 8 a.m. Saturday on Lake Shelby at Gulf State Park.

In the past, hundreds of children from Gulf Shores and Orange Beach have participated in this event and enjoyed learning how to fish, organizers said.

Sponsors such as Gulf State Park, Alabama Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries Division, the city of Gulf Shores, Tucker’s Tang Soo Do, and WinnDixie, have provided bait, money to purchase the catfish, and volunteers to work the event."
