WSFA 12 News has a crew on the scene of the find. There's no need to panic thinking a mass murderer is roaming the streets, however.

Montgomery Police spokesman Major Huey Thornton says it's believed the bodies are from a mass grave of victims who died of a Yellow Fever outbreak sometime in the early 1800's."

We brought The Annie Girl home from Louisiana about three weeks ago. We had a very productive season there this fall. The Lump was dead but Green Canyon was HOT! Every trip to Green Canyon was a hit with bounty of Yellow fin Tuna.

We have been working on the Annie Girl the past couple of weeks doing our annual haul out and Coast Guard inspections. We are done with that and ready to fish!

Two weeks ago we had a successful overnight trip. Scamp, Red Grouper and Amberjacks top the list of reef fish we encountered on our way offshore.
Late that afternoon we caught several Black fin Tuna, 4 Yellow fins, and a nice Blue Marlin we estimated @ 350 to 400 pounds!

Cobia have started their annual migration through or area and its time to go Cobia Hunting. The next 3 weeks or so should be the best.

This year's Art Camp dates: April 13 – 17, 2009


The Orange Beach Art Center would like to invite your child to be a part of the second annual Spring Break Art Camp! It is going to be five fun filled days of art experiences for the boys and girls. POTTERY, WATERCOLORS, SCULPTURE, and Discovering Color with Acrylics!

This year we have two professional artist and two art educators coming to teach your child. In each class children will have hands on fun art lessons. They will push and pull clay, swirl and blend pigments, design and build sculpture. You will need to clear a place at home to display the work your child will complete at CAMP!

Art Campers will begin at 9:00 AM each morning and rotate through all four classes and go home at 2:00pm. Between classes we will have exciting games. Each day’s instruction will build on the day before as children learn and complete their projects.

The cost of the Spring Break Art Camp is $60. This year the Friends of the Arts, are hosting our our children’s camps at the Orange Beach Art Center.
