Census work continues in Baldwin County | al.com: "Residents who miss today's deadline to mail in census forms will still have a chance to be counted, according to U.S. Census officials.
Census workers in coming weeks will call on homes where residents have not returned the 10-question forms, Edward Davis, Census Bureau regional spokesman, said.
'You can still get counted,' he said. 'The cutoff time is April 16, but after that people are going to knock on the door.'
Baldwin County's compliance rate as of Wednesday was 65 percent, the same as the state average. Community compliance rates ranged from 73 percent in Spanish Fort to 48 percent in Orange Beach, according to Census Bureau reports."
