Slight rise in revenue, money for reserves predicted in Gulf Shores 2010 budget | Breaking News from the Press-Register - al.com: "GULF SHORES, Ala.�-- Anticipating a slight rise in revenue next year and further cost cutting at City Hall, the City Council unanimously approved a 2010 budget Monday that should allow more than $1 million to be stashed away in a reserve fund.

'I was delighted that we could have a reasonable increase in revenue, control expenses and show a million-dollar surplus next year,' Mayor Robert Craft said. 'We think it's going to be a decent year next year if we get decent weather.'"
