Orange Beach Fishing Association to celebrate anniversaries with time capsule | Press-Register Community News - al.com: "ORANGE BEACH, Ala. -- In honor of its 35th anniversary and the 25th anniversary of the city of Orange Beach, the Orange Beach Fishing Association will present a time capsule filled with items commemorating the fishing industry at a celebration from 2 to 4 p.m. Dec. 13� at the Orange Beach Community Center on Canal Road.
OBFA will also name new life members at the event, according to Captain Ben Fairey, association president. Life members to be honored are Captains Billy Walker, Gladwin Walker, Walter Trent, Ray Callaway, Armand Annan, Carl McDuffie, Ruhert Walker, Bobby Cudsworth, John Turner, Maurice Fitzsimmons, Ty Fleming and Iris Ethridge. The celebration is free and open to the public."
