Orange Beach City Council meetings might start earlier in 2010 | Breaking News from the Press-Register - al.com: "ORANGE BEACH, Ala. -- Municipal officials are contemplating starting City Council meetings at 5 p.m. in the New Year.
The council is scheduled to vote on the change at its Tuesday meeting, which will begin at 6 p.m. -- the time they have started since the current administration took office in late 2008.
Mayor Tony Kennon said that the change would help quell confusion that arises from having council work sessions begin at 5 p.m. and regular meetings, at which the panel votes on matters, at 6 p.m."
